Author Haunted Muskegon
I am originally from Laredo, Texas, and growing up in a barrio outside of Laredo, known as "Ghost Town." have lived in Muskegon for most of my life. I am a ULC Minister and wedding officiant and worked in the medical field for many years before retiring. I have a A.A.S. and B.S. in the medical sciences. I am a professional artist and jewelry designer; selling through my jewelry business, "Gypsy Swan." I'm a professional astrologer, tarot reader and numerologist. I have worn many "hats" when it comes to my profession and interests, which tend to lean towards anything creative as well as all things unknown, bizarre, or mysterious, but it is my love of research and the unknown that has been a driving force in my life, having been a Certified Field Investigator for over ten years with MUFON as well as three years as a columnist for the MUFON Journal. Cases that I investigated in Michigan and Montana have been featured on many sites worldwide.
In addition to authoring “Haunted Muskegon and a media host and investigative journalist for “Paranormal Muskegon” (new episodes coming soon) on the Muskegon Channel; https://muskegonchannel.com/ I am head researcher/CEO of Cygnus Research https://cygnusresearch2015.blogspot.com/ in Muskegon, Michigan, a non-laboratory center whose mission is to explore new paradigms in science, history, archeology, consciousness, and the paranormal. My first book, “Haunted Muskegon” chronicles 13 stories from Muskegon, Michigan; a lakeshore city which is one of Western Michigan’s oldest, dating back to the 1700s. Starting out as a Native American village; it became a leading supplier of lumber; shipping thousands of logs worldwide. During the Victorian era, Muskegon had many millionaires who built grand mansions; many of which are still standing and are said to be haunted. The book focuses on the history of the buildings; the families that lived in them; what paranormal activity stories have been told throughout their history as well as what is said to be going on now. A few of the places have been investigated. Through research and interviews with paranormal investigators, the book takes an in-depth, open-minded look at these accounts and what was found during their investigations. Haunted Muskegon tells readers what investigators look for when investigating these sites; as well as their methods and equipment. It gives a general overview of what ghosts and apparitions are thought to be as well as overview of theories for their appearances.
