Episode 79 - Mothman Enthusiast & Researcher Steve Ward

Episode 79 - Mothman Enthusiast & Researcher Steve Ward

Steve has been following the Mothman since November of 1966. He is most interested in 'high strangeness areas" where different types of phenomena seem to occur in the same places.

On December 15th, 1967, just after 5 pm, the Ohio bridge collapsed while full of traffic, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Many people died, and is considered one of the worst bridge accidents in modern history. Before this unfortunate event, a large-winged creature was spotted around the surrounding area, and lots of strange things were occurring in this town.  There are hundreds of eyewitness accounts, and we discuss in detail all things Mothman, the Men in Black, what led up to the event, and what it's like to live in Point Pleasant today.

I really enjoyed talking with Steve, and can't wait to have him on the show again.
